This policy is part of the Terms of Service of Budget Assist, operated by Pleco Stream Inc d/b/a Budget Assist. It says what the service may and may not be used for, and what the limits of each package mean in practice.
Use the service as described
The service may be used only for the purpose described on this website, by the account holder or people the account holder authorises, and in a way that does not interfere with other customers' use of it.
You agree not to:
- use the service for anything unlawful, or to infringe someone else's rights;
- upload, store or distribute content that is abusive, defamatory, fraudulent or that you have no right to use;
- probe, scan, overload, disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service, its infrastructure, or any other system;
- circumvent the limits of your package, share one account between organisations, or resell the service;
- send unsolicited messages through the service, or use it to collect personal data without the lawful basis to do so;
- run automated security testing against the service without our written permission.
Package limits and fair use
Every package has the limits shown on the pricing page and at checkout. Where a feature is described as unlimited, it is unlimited for the ordinary use of one customer: we do not meter it, but we may ask you to reduce usage that is far beyond what a single customer would reasonably need, or that degrades the service for others. We will contact you first wherever that is reasonable.
Enforcement
If an account breaches this policy we may limit, suspend or end it. We contact the account holder before doing so where that is reasonable, and always afterwards. Fees already paid for a period in which an account is ended for breach are not refunded, except where the law requires otherwise.
Reporting abuse
To report misuse of the service, or to ask us to stop something the service is doing in connection with your systems, email [email protected]. We respond within two business days.
